Welcome to Warriors Forbidden! This site is an intermediate WarriorCat's Role Play based off of the books by Erin Hunter. All four canon clans are played here, as well as rogues who will play a major part in the coming plot.

Many moons ago a strange object was found in ShadowClan Territory. It stunk of Twolegs, but also of something that no cat could understand. It seemed to have come from nowhere. The ShadowClan warrior disposed of this strange object in the CarrionPlace, but little did they now that the container held a strange poison that will poison the clans in moons to come.

     RC Medicine cat tryouts
    « Thread Started on Oct 19, 2009, 6:29pm »

i do not believe bramble had ever posted with calicopelt, or was calicopelt ever mentioned, in any part of this site. so we'll just move on like she never existed. honey would like her cat, honeypaw to remain an apprentice. the medicine cat position is open to anyone, who does not have another medicine cat, 3 high positions, or another high position in riverclan. if you have 3 high positions, do not post here. so whoever is the riverclan medicine cat, will be honeypaw's mentor. be active, please.

    expectations!
    • true medicine cat- no sob-story background, no fake appearance, no strange personality. the medicine cat must be like a normal medicine cat, as in the books. examples are spottedleaf (TC), and leafstalk (TC). they must have been training as medicine cats since they were apprentices.

    • able to recognize prophecies- they must be good, and ready to receive prophecies from starclan. they will only get prophecies wrong, or not see them at all, when it has to do with the current plot of the site. you will receive a pm if that is to happen.

    • grammar and spelling great. you must have good grammar and spelling. no that doesn't mean capitalizing, if you have a typing style like mine, lul. it just means, you have to be able to spell most basic words right, and know how to make sentences.

    • long! the bio must be worth the read, and long enough to be considered good. please, please, do not make a short, weak bio. put some time into this. if you really want it, work for it!

→ by posting here, you accept the fact that if you do not win the tryouts, you will not whine, complain, or act childish. by applying for the riverclan medicine cat position, you must be ready for your bio to be declined, for it can happen to anyone.

----- the due date is NOVEMBER 3RD. if your bio is not completed by that date, it will be disqualified. it is best if you save your bio, in a word document, until it is finished.

    name: Berryfrost

    age: 43 moons

    gender: she-cat

    clan: River

summary: A small white she-cat with strange markings from Starclan

    picture: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh314/WolfishMutt/MyWillowclanMedicineCat.jpg

appearance: She has light green eyes that calm every cat tham looks at them. She has small claws with tiny points to them and a long tail. Her ears have a black tip to them and she has a small black marking beside her left eye. She has flexible and soft, soothing paws that have black markings on them from starclan.

personality: She helps every cat that needs help and is very kind. She gets fussy over cats who insist that they're fine and don't need help. She never loses her nerve and reads Starclan's prophices almost perfecty, when she doesn't have a paitient. She is very loyal, helpful, and funny and has a good attitude.

history: Was born into Riverclan by Rainsplash and Hailfur. Her sister was Swiftheart, but she knew she would be a medicine cat. For her, the days dragged on until she became a full grown apprentice. She trained for many moons and finally learned almost ever herb there was. It was during her mentors death when she got the markings. Starclan let the rest of her mentors knowledge be in her forever, because she didn't have time to learn it.

She then became a medicine cat and healed Riverclan for many more moons. But one day on the way to the Moonstone, she was taken by a loner. The loner had a sister named Claire that had been attacked by a badger. For many moons she was held captive until the loner was sure his sister would survive. When she was finally let free, she went back to her clan to rejoice her coming home. Now that she is free, she wants to rejoin Riverclan as the rightful medicine cat she used to be.

on this site there are no unrealistic appearances; so she cannot have strange markings even if they are from starclan. that's just not right- and this is a literate warriors role-play.

so please change that. for tryouts, one of the requirements was the bio was long, and obviously, that is not the case here. the tryouts are extended until an accurate bio can be accepted.

if you had read the expectations, you would have seen this.

    name: Stormpelt

    age:28 moons

    gender:Tom

    clan: RiverCLan

summary: Tall black and white tom with auburn eyes

    picture:N/A

appearance: Stormpelt has long legs. The fur is very wispy around his legs, and is mostly white however around his knees, there is dark Grey. His front paws are all white except for his pads. They are a dark grey colour. His back paws are more flecked with black but are predominately white. At Stormpelt's shoulders, there are many clumps of knotted fur making his shoulders look bulky, when really he is quite lithe. Across his chest, he has a cluster of black splotches, and the fur is very soft and well kept. Stormpelt has a short tail like a manx, and it is black. His face is narrow, and his nose is pink but has a black dot that stretches from his left nostril to just below his left eye. Stormpelt's ears are wide set and the insides are pink while the outsides are white.

personality: Stormpelt is a very calm cat but with a nasty temper. However, it takes a lot to tick him off. He has a lot of patience, but he does get cross with his apprentice easily. He is kinder to wards kits than anyone else because he knows that kits are the warriors of the future, but he has no fear in chastising them. To wards Elders, he is more straight forward to get it through their stubborn heads.

When it comes to herbs, he can name them in his sleep. He tries to do everything in his power to make sure he has plenty of everything even if that means sending out his apprentice everyday to find herbs, or going out himself. He royally hates being out, or low on a herb. Stormpelt rarely shows hostility to wards other Clans, he sees no reason for it. He always greets other Clans with kindness and the same respect he shows his Clan mates.

When dealing with injured cats, Stormpelt stays very calm. It's like his head clears and he is only focused on healing the cat. Most of the time, this is exactly what happens. He observes the injury, and then he will disappear and come out with the herbs. He is also very fast at his work but he works silently and intently. After he is done, he will tell the cat everything they need to do help it heal faster. And when he is all done, he will explain what he did to his apprentice.

StarClan has a special place in his heart. His respect for them and for their prophecies goes really deep. He is very quick to defend them if any cat says something against them. At the time of the half-moon, he gets fidgety and irritated easily, but once he is in the presence of his ancestors he calms down. He takes prophecies very seriously and believes that everyone should be looked at carefully and though through thoroughly.

history: At a very young age, Stormpelt took an interest in the medicine cats job. But as a kit, play fighting and goofing off was his calling. It was all he did until he was around 4 or 5 moons. Around this time, he starting thinking about his apprenticeship. The idea of being a medicine cat filled his head and he reveled in the idea. So, he started hanging around the medicine den and he asked A LOT of questions. The leader noted this. When the apprentice ceremony came around, and Stormkit was named Stormpaw and was called to train as medicine cat apprentice, he couldn't've been happier. He was practically bursting out of his fur.

That night, he sat up and tried to talk to the other apprentices about what it would be like to be a medicine cat. They all told him so go to sleep. Well, he didn't. He sat in his nest with excitement and his little mind went over all the things he would be able to do. He would be able to talk to StarClan, learn how to heal cats, learn about the herbs and be respected. The respect part appealed to him the most at first. He could only imagine his fellow apprentices having to respect his authority. But throughout his training his priorities straightened out.

The first day of his training was a disaster. From his lack of sleep from the night before, he was groggy and unfocused. This infuriated his mentor. Ashamed and tail between legs, the session was ended. Stormpelt wanted to sink into the ground and die from embarrassment. He felt sick to his stomach and he could barely eat his fresh kill. That night, he told himself, he would be the best apprentice ever. With that thought in his head, he slept. He didn't dream at all. In the morning, he woke up bright eyed and bushy-tailed ready to actually start his training.

This training session went a lot better then the previous days. Stormpelt was on the ball and ready for anything. His mentor was sufficiently impressed. Over the course of his training, most of the days were like this. It was a while before his mentor was able to show him how to use the certain herbs on wounds. Stormpelt knew mouse bile well, and poppy seeds, but the other herbs not so much. During leafbare, he learned of cat nip and numerous other herbs to do with battle injuries, a minor poisoning and little wounds. Needless to say, Stormpelt learned quickly and well. He was very attentive as an apprentice.

At his first half-moon gathering, he was nervous and scared to talk to StarClan. On the way before meeting the other medicine cats and their apprentices, his mentor explained what would happen. Stormpelt listened with a little bit fear, and a little bit excitement. He caught every word, and replayed them in his head numerous times until they met up with the other cats. He was introduced to them all. Stormpelt greeted wide eyed and with his fur on end in nervousness and fear. These cats looked far more qualified for this job then he did. His heart sank. Head hung and feeling defeated, he walked solemnly with his mentor.

All his doubts were erased when he came into the presence of StarClan. He was greeted and he greeted them the same way he greeted his fellow medicine cats. The meeting was short, but it reassured him. When he awoke, he wanted to scream out everything that had happened, but he had been told it wasn't right to share. It didn't squash his excitement though. Him and his mentor walked back to camp in silence. He played the meeting over and over again in his head until he fell asleep.

Near the end of his training, Stormpelt starting calming down and for lack of a better term, he matured. No longer was he Stormpaw, the loud rambunctious apprentice, he was now the calm, quiet Stormpaw. His mentor was happy to see the change but sometimes he wished for the old Stormpelt back on slow boring days. Stormpelt never received a prophecy from StarClan as an apprentice, but he did have StarClan cats walk in his dreams. His naming ceremony came and went quickly, with much congratulations.

When the time came for Stormpelt to become Stormpelt, Medicine cat of RiverClan, once again became the loud rambunctious one. His life long dream was to come true, and he couldn't be happier. On the night of his ceremony, he was bubbling with energy and he could barely contain himself. He was sad though to see his mentor step down, but he knew he was qualified enough for the job. So he embraced the new title and he swore on that night to never let his Clan, or faith for StarClan die.
