Feels like we just finished the last one, eh? Well, here's the September one. And hopefully we'll get it done quicker than the last.
ThunderClan cats- Spiderclaw, Creamtail, Foxpaw, Fernpelt, Thunderstreak, Lilypond, Glitterpaw, Dawnpaw, and Nightfur.
If the leaders do not post by tomorrow the gathering will have to start without them.

RIVERCLAN: Shadestar, Thymemoon, Icewreath, Pantherclaw, Owlpaw, Calicopelt, Honeypaw, Russetstorm.
Shadestar entered the clearing of the gathering, her warriors and Riverclan cats trailing silently behind her. Sniffing the air, it was readily obvious that hers were the first cats to arrive. Only the faint and stale scents of past gatherings lingered in the air here, and of coarse a much more recent scent of Riverclan...The leader padded over to the large boulder and leaped with grace to the top. She then sat and tucked her tail around her paws. It was a cloudless night and her eyes shone crystal blue in the bright light of the full moon above the giant figure that was Four Trees. Shadestar smiled as she glanced at her cats, and then turned her gaze to the outlying boundaries of the area. Soon, the other clans and their leaders would be arriving...
Pantherclaw walked into the clearing. There were no other clans there yet, but clans tended to arrive in quick spurts, so the brown tom was not concerned. He glanced back at his apprentice. Owlpaw would be excited about attending the gathering, no doubt. The mentor smiled to the younger tom.

[ooc: Amy asked me to play Heraldstar since Brambleclaw has not yet appeared.]
WindClan Cats :: Heraldstar, Cloverleaf, Dewdrop, Swiftclaw, Thornstrike, Featherpaw, Weaselfoot and Brackenheart
Padding lightly, Heraldstar breathed in the cool night air. Beneath his sleek brown and white tabby pelt, muscles moved with ever step and his tail was held like a banner behind him. Even before he broke through the barrier of foliage circling Four Trees, the tom could scent the fishy smell of Riverclan, but other than that they appeared to be alone. Looking over his shoulder, he nodded and motioned for his clan to follow before diving through the brambles and plunging headfirst into the clearing. Being only filled with a few Riverclan cats, the area was mostly open leaving a clear path for Heraldstar to follow to the boulder. Taking it at a running jump, the tabby easily made the jump, landing gracefully at the edge. Whiskers twitching when he noticed Shadestar already sitting, he trotted over to her and dipped his head lightly in the form of an equal greeting an equal. "Greetings Shadestar!" He meowed happily, the usual warm look spreading across his handsome face.

Thymemoon ran into the clearing. She didn't see Thornstrike yet, so she went to her spot and waited more patiently than she thought. Hmm... I'll Have to talk to Shadestar after this! It's just about time for the kits to be apprenticed! she thought warmly about it and sighed. I would love to have a mate! But That might mess with my deputy position, and I can't let down Shadestar like that! her smile faded and she lied down and waited for Thornstrike.

Silentstar: The black she-cat padded up to the edge of the hollow, looking down upon RiverClan and WindClan as the two clans gathered below. She blinked in surprise to see the tensions had gone down and they were behaving almost in a friendly behavior towards each other. It had been a moon, though, and a lot can change in such a short period of time. She raised her tail to her clan mates, and they raced down into the gathering. She paused at the edge of the bushes for a heart-beat, the bounded in, followed by her clan mates. She spotted Shadestar and Heraldstar up ahead, and she padded over, dipping her head courteously to the other two leaders. "Greetings, Shadestar, Heraldstar. I hope all is well among your clans," she meowed. Waiting for a reply, she crouched down and curled her tail around her paws, casting a quick glance around at the other cats in the clearing.
Featherpaw: Padding warily along the cats gathered here, she couldn't help feeling excited that she was invited to her second gathering in a row! she was only an apprentice, after all. But there were so few apprentices in WindClan right now, they were all invited almost every time. She looked around, her eyes falling upon the three leaders, and widened respectfully, and in awe as she saw them in their full brilliance. She recognized Shadestar, RiverClan's leader by her glossy, RiverClan pelt, and Silentstar of ThunderClan by her jet black fur, with a hint of brown. She'd heard much about them. Turning her head she spotted RiverClan's deputy, Thymemoon. Excited, she trotted over to the she-cat, her tail raised respectfully and her eyes glowing. As she padded closer she began to get a bit shy, and lowered her head slightly. "Ugh... Hi Thymemoon," she stammered, being as kind as she could. "I'm Featherpaw, of WindClan," she announced, slightly more confident as she began to speak.

[maroon]The tom had been at a confrontation. He wasn't completely sure whether or not he hoped to see Thymemoon there. A part of him knew she was a deputy and that he didn't really have a choice. The problem was, he wasn't sure if that made him happy or not. Rather, he found himself staring blankly ahead as he stood in place, eyes falling on the she-cat. What took him even more by surprise was the fact that his apprentice was conversing with the she-cat. He'd never known Featherpaw to be very outgoing, but he figured it was good for the she-cat to get to know the other clan warriors. Walking over calmly, he dipped his head to Thymemoon, eyes flashing at her as if to ask her not to mention their previous meeting or show any signs that they knew each other. "Thymemoon, greetings. I hope all is well in Riverclan." He meowed politely, a hint of a smirk on his expression as he dipped his head to the she-cat, masking any evidence that they knew each other more than just a casual 'hello' every now and then.[/maroon] [navy]Icewreath squirmed uncomfortably. He would've liked to stay back at camp this time. After all, it didn't seem like much had gone on that moon other than the border fight. But that had already been discussed, and the lack of tension in the air told him that tonight would be like any other normal Gathering. However, the boring scenery wasn't the only thing that bothered him. On the way to Four Trees, the tom had unintentionally stumbled and fallen into a patch of nettles, and now his pelt itched like fire. Shifting in agitation, he wished one of the Medicine Cats had brought some kind of herb to get rid of his irritation, and he grumbled angrily to himself. Great job, Icewreath. This is the perfect time for you to get some wierd skin infection. Now the whole forest will think you're some flea-covered bag of fur.[/navy] [green]Fernpelt, being her usual cheerful self, was unaware of the personal frustrations several cats were encountering, and she continued smiling as she sat, the full moon seeming to make her pelt glow. Looking up at her leader, she felt pride fill her as she noticed how confident Silentstar seemed. Sometimes, she wished she could be as noble as the black she-cat, and she sighed as she reminded herself that she wasn't serious enough to be a leader. Glancing around, the pretty cat wondered if her siblings were anywhere to be found. Green eyes intent on finding at least one of them, she felt her spirits rise as she spotted a familiar black pelt. Standing, she padded over to the cat, smiling at him. "Icewreath, do you remember me?" She purred, sitting down a little way's from the tom.[/green] [navy]Turning as his voice was called, the tom blinked and stared at the cat. Who in Starclan's name is she? Blinking, he stared at her blankly. "Should I?" He meowed, noting with a flicker of guilt that she looked hurt by his words. However, she brushed it aside within moments, and his eyes widened as he recalled only one other cat he knew that could smile that quickly. "Fernpaw?" Grinning at him, the she-cat corrected the tom. "Fernpelt. It's good to see you again, brother."[/navy] [/center]

Head turning toward the sound of rustling undergrowth, Heraldstar watched calmly as Thunderclan poured into the clearing, leaving only Shadowclan to show up next. Tail swishing over the smooth rock surface, his eyes followed the shape of Silentstar, her black pelt blending in with the darkness. It didn't take long before she had joined them. "Ah Silentstar, he purred in reply to the Thunderclan leader, "all has been calm in Windclan, I hope things go they same for you as well?" Trotting happily into the Four Trees clearing, Weaselfoot stopped at the edge to look around. Around him the scents of three clans mingled together and made his nose wrinkle as he resisted the urge to sneeze. Shaking his head, the black and white tom cat looked around hoping to spot a cat or two to talk to. He had always enjoyed gatherings, it gave him time to talk to cats whom had not yet been annoyed by his everday antics. Sighing, he blinked when he spotted Featherpaw introducing herself to the Riverclan deputy, Thornstrike there as well. The Windclan wariror's ear tips twitched, he had never liked Thornstrike much, but nevertheless he needed someone to talk to. Eagerly he made his way over to the three cats and plopped himself down right next to Featherpaw. "Hello!" He meowed in a friendly manner, fur ruffled untidly. Than looking over at Thymemoon he tilted his head to the side and smiled, "your the Riverclan deputy are you not? I'm Weaselfoot, nice to meet ya!" Weaselfoot said rather loudly.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

"Hello Heraldstar." meowed Shadestar in a friendly tone. She was about to ask how his clan was when Silentstar appeared. "My clan is well." she answered the Thunderclan leader with a smile. "How about both of yours?" she added. While she waited for an answer, the Riverclan leader glanced around. The only clan left to arrive was Shadowclan. What's taking Darkstar so long? she couldn't help but wonder.
Pantherclaw smiled as he watched cats from Windclan and Thunderclan arrive. He always liked to watch the massive number of cats pool together under Four Trees. The peace that normally settled among them all was nice to witness. Well, much better than fighting at any rate...The brown tom looked around for a cat to talk to. He spotted a Thunderclan she-cat he might have seen at the last gathering. Padding over, he sat down next to her and meowed, "Hello. Fernpelt, right? I'm Pantherclaw." he smiled, and dipped his head in a friendly greeting. He had seen her speaking with Icewreath, and figured she was friendly with Riverclan then...
Cloverleaf entered the gathering, eyes bright in the light of the full moon. Not a cloud in sight, always a good sign. She looked around for cats to speak with, but not seeing any medicine cat to talk with yet, sat down on her own. It felt strange to not have Falconpaw with her. After all, he had been at the last gathering. In fact, he had rarely been away from her since his apprenticeship to her. She smiled. Growing attached already. she thought to herself wryly.
Lilypond walked into the clearing, her mind on many different things. She wondered what news would be shared, if any fights would erupt again, and what her brother was up to, since he was to remain at camp. She let her mind wander, and she meandered to the center of the mingling cats. She sat down and looked around her for cats to speak with.

[green]Blinking, the she-cat turned as her name was called, and she tilted her head to the side, trying to match a name to the face. Partypaw? No, too big to be an apprentice... Hmmmm, Patternclaw? "Pantherclaw!" She meowed, not meaning to say it aloud so enthusiastically, and she quickly shut her mouth, turning red as she realized she had practically shouted the tom's name. Smiling apologetically, she said in a soft voice, "Hello Pantherclaw. It's nice to meet you." Casting a swift glance over her shoulder, she felt her heart sink as she found that her brother was no longer sitting there. He must've left while I wasn't paying attention. Oh well, there's always next Gathering. Sighing, she looked back at Pantherclaw and smiled sweetly, hoping the warrior didn't think her too strange. [/green] [navy]Good. She's distracted. The minute the she-cat looked away, the tom darted into the bushes, black pelt obscurred in the leafy shadows as he slipped away from the large body of cats, determined to put as much distance as possible between himself and Fernpelt. Icewreath didn't want to see his family, nor did he want them to see him. Fox-dung! He cursed, wondering if this night could get any worse. His pelt itched insanely, there was nothing interesting to talk about, and his sister had approached him for the first time since they were seperated as kits.[/navy] Sighing, Whisperstar shook mud from her paws, glancing up at the full moon and smiling. It seemed just yesterday that she'd been chatting away with Cloverleaf at the Gathering, and now she was there again, silver fur shining under silverpelt. "Cloverleaf, is that you?" She meowed, spotting the she-cat's familiar pelt as she trotted over to her fellow Medicine Cat. [maroon]Thornstrike narrowed his eyes slightly as Weaselfoot bounded over. The tom was never serious, and he was always getting on Thornstrike's nerves. What annoyed him even more was when he spoke to Thymemoon as though the two were old friends. He wasn't sure why, but his temper was cut short when the she-cat's attention was anywhere but on him. "Weaselfoot, I didn't know you came tonight." He meowed, forcing back all his agression and instead nodding politely to the tom. In his head, he was swearing at the warrior with every curse word he knew. [/center][/maroon]

Why, hello Featherpaw! And Thornstrike as well! she said flashing her blue eyes at him. Is training fun? Or is Thornstrike giving you a hard time? she laughed. Her expression died as she caught his glint. Sorry, did I go to far? I didn't mean to hurt this knuckle-brain's feelings! she looked at Featherpaw with a smile and a purr. No matter what anyone says, you believe in your mentor here, and don't let others give him a hard time, ok? she looked at Thornstrike again with a smile and said, I'm afraid I have to go somewhere real quick. See ya'll later! she said in her weird accent. she walked off into the bushes to lie down, her head hurting from laughing to much.

[maroon]Gritting his teeth as he was put as the center of a joke, it took all his self-restraint to keep him from following the she-cat as she suddenly said her farewells and parted. "Haha. Good night, Thymemoon." He meowed, forcing a smile at the deputy before looking over his shoulder and exhaling sharply so no one could see the embarassed irritation on his face. When he had calmed down somewhat, he looked down at Featherpaw and then over at that ridiculously hyper ball of fur. "Featherpaw, would you like me to introduce you to some of the other cats here?" He asked, watching his apprentice. [/center][/maroon]

Thymemoon layed there behind the bushes, waiting for the gathering to start. She felt tired from laughing too hard. She felyt bad about ignoring Weaselfoot, but knew him well from talk. She didn't want to get aquainted with him.
Creamtail sat at her spot and sighed. What did he mean? I have to work harder than ever? What does that mean! she wanted to claw herself. What could Venomtail have meant? 'You have to work harder than ever before.' She didn't know that she had damned him! If she knew, she would have never had done it in the first place! Why StarClan! I was stupid, and I couldn't control myself! She looked over at Cloverleaf and walked to her. Can you talk? she whispered to the she-cat. She needed to talk to someone about it, So why not Cloverleaf.

ShadowClan: Darkstar, Beechflight, Whisperrain, Jaywing, Hawktail, Cliffstone, Silverstripe, Winterbreeze, Featherbreathe, Mystery, and Splashpaw.
(OOC//: Sorry I haven't been here! School, you know?)
Darkstar sat next to the other Leaders silently. He watched the Clans mingle and wondered when the Gathering would begin. Slowly flicking his tail from side to side, the tom sighed lightly. The moon outlined the cats below, making everything look eerie, yet calm. His eyes landed on his Deputy, Beechflight. Darkstar watched her for a few, long, heartbeats and then looked out at the Clans. "I wonder when we will start," he thought boredly.

Tilting his head to the side in a friendly gesture, Heraldstar purred. "That is good to hear. The prey thrives in Windclan, its a good time to be alive," he meowed, tabby tail wrapping around his forepaws as he adjusted himself. Hearing a scuffling behind him, the Windclan tom looked over his shoulder to see Darkstar sit down a little farther away on the great rock. Shrugging when the Shadowclan leader didn't greet them, he turned his attention back to the two she-cats in front of him. If Darkstar didn't want to talk, than it wasn't his place to make him.
Frowning when he realized he wasn't welcome, Weaselfoot let out a light snort and padded away, disappearing from view into the other cats. "Well I'll be...its not only my clan-mates, but clan deputy's as well! Pfft...I didn't want to talk to them anyway," he thought quitely to himself, quickly getting over the fact that he had been ignored. Looking around, he realized that he didn't know many cats here, and eyes narrowing, made his way to the edge of the clearing. Settling down, he let a bored expression take over his features, hazel gaze following a moth as it fluttered in front of his face.

Cloverleaf nodded her head in greeting to Whisperrain. "Hello." she purred kindly. She would have said more, but at that moment, Creamtail hissed a need to talk into her ear. "Ok." Cloverleaf hissed back, slightly confused. Rarely did the cats of other clans elect to share secrets with cats outside their own clan. Cloverleaf walked with Creamtail to a sheltered spot, where the rest of the gathering would be at a distance from them. "What is it?" the Windclan medicine cat asked in a concerned tone. Other clan or not, she could tell Creamtail was troubled. As a medicine cat, Cloverleaf's instincts were to help, not scorn.
Shadestar smiled as at last Darkstar arrived with the cats of Shadowclan trailing behind him. As he jumped onto the rock, the she-cat meowed, "Greetings. I'm glad to see you, so now we may begin." The Riverclan leader stepped forward to share her clan's news. "Riverclan is thriving. Prey runs well, and Our kits grow older and more healthy." she smiled at the last comment. Having no more news of any importance, the gray she-cat blinked her blue eyes at the other leaders, waiting for the next to take her place and announce...
Pantherclaw almost laughed as Fernpelt practically yowled his name. He guessed she must have just triumphed over her own memory, but decided not to remark on the matter. "Yup. It is good to meet you as well." he purred, trying to act as though that much enthusiasm was a normal thing. His words were cut short as his leader began to speak up on the large boulder. He turned his ears and gaze upon her, as well as the other leaders. He still flashed a friendly smile to Fernpelt, so the she-cat knew he wasn't ignoring her.
Cliffstone entered the clearing, and as his leader went to join the other leaders, he went to find himself a seat. He was still looking when the Riverclan leader began her report. Cliffstone instinctively sat down where he was to listen. It happened to be next to a Thunderclan she-cat who giggled at his militaristic manner. He laughed under his breath at his actions as well. The Thunderclan she-cat he suddenly recognized as Lilypaw, an apprentice he had met at one of his first gatherings. She had been there with her smoky brother, Duskpaw. He couldn't see Duskpaw anywhere, and Lilypaw looked much older. In fact, Cliffstone realized she had to be a warrior by now. His thoughts must have read clearly on his face, because she smiled and meowed under her breath. "It's Lilypond now. What do they call you?" Cliffstone smiled, glad she had thought him a warrior straight away as well. "Cliffstone." he replied with a friendly smile. They both then turned their attention back to the leaders.
