Thymemoon saw Thornstrike look at her and quickly turned her head back to the leaders. She blushed even more as tired to keep her eyes on the leaders. She sighed at her bad luck in falling in love with a WindClan cat and looked at Thronstrike one more time before finally focusing on the leaders.

Shadestar smiled down at Thymemoon. The she-cat looked very happy, but oddly worried at the same time. The gray leader had felt the sudden urge to try and comfort her deputy. She kept a smile in her light blue gaze as she turned her focus again to the rest of the gathered cats. She had noticed once more that Thymemoon was looking in the direction of the Windclan warrior Thornstrike. The leader, though completely trusting that her deputy was doing nothing wrong, couldn't shake a feeling of foreboding. Perhaps she found it hard to trust Thornstrike? therefore anything involving him made her uncomfortable or suspicious...Yes, surely that was it. She knew her deputy was not at fault for looking at the Windclan warrior.

Darkstar looked at the Leaders and sighed, seeing as it was his turned to speak. Stepping forward with his tail and head held high, he began his announcements. "All is well in ShadowClan. Prey is running well," Darkstar mewed. His eyes landed on Beechflight as his sentence ended and the words felt stuck in his throat. "We are well prepared for this Leaf-Bare." he almost struggled to say and then stepped back. The tomcat looked at his Deputy. There was something about the moonlight on her fur and her beautiful green eyes. Darkstar didn't let his gaze leave Beechflight for a couple long heartbeat, then he turned his gaze to the moon, and finally at the cats below, awaiting the last Leader to speak.
OOC//: Sorry I haven't posted!! Karate and school keep me fairly busy >.<"

OOC: Dark, you do karate?! Sweet! I take Kung Fu. =)
IC: Shadestar listened to the Shadowclan leader as he spoke. She noticed that his words seemed different than normal. Strained almost. She decided that something was going on in the tom's mind, but seeing as it didn't appear dangerous to her clan, she had no need to further investigate the matter. She averted her gaze from the dark furred tom, and instead looked up at the sky. The full moon was as bright as ever, and she felt uplifted seeing its familiar and beautiful shape so proudly glowing against the twinkling stars.
Cliffstone heard his leader's words, and smiled. They were doing well this season in preparation for Leafbare. He then noticed the strain in Darkstar's speech. His leader's eyes settled on his deputy, with an odd expression outlined in them. They must be worried about something they haven't shared with the clan yet...Cliffstone thought to himself. Like deputy, leader private stuff...

OOC::AGH!! I haven't posted here! Sorry!
Hawktail watched and listened to everything that the leaders said. Catching the oddness in her leader, the dark tabby narrowed her eyes. Wonder what's got his tongue. Looking at the deputy, the dark cat changed her thought. Or who...
OOC::Short, but I didn't get to read the whole gathering, so yeah...

Thymemoon saw Shadestar look at her and wondered if she somehow knew that she liked Thornstrike? Hopefully not! she thought and looked at Thornsrike again. Thorn, we have to be careful, or something bad might happen! she wanted to say to him so bad. She wondered if he loved her as much as she did, or if he even knew?

OOC: Kewl! =D I take Kung Fu too!!! [maroon]Staring up as her leader spoke, the she-cat couldn't help but stiffle a laugh as he seemed tongue-tied. Following his gaze over to where Beechflight, her clan's deputy sat, she wondered if there was something more the two cats weren't going on about. I'll never understand those emotions though. Because as long as I live, I will never weigh the lives of other cats on my own shoulders. She thought, blinking as she glanced at the moon's circular shape before looking back at the leaders. Oh well. Love hurts, they say.[/maroon] Thornstrike's eyes narrowed but he said nothing, choosing to watch the leaders in silence. Green orbs still as his ears pricked at the voices, he felt a set of eyes on his pelt and, instinctively, the tom turned to see who was giving him unwanted attention. However, he was even more surprised when he found himself staring at Thymemoon. Instantly, his face reddened, but it took him several moments until he was able to look away, feeling strangely unsettled. He wasn't sure what it was about her that made him feel different. She was pretty, yes, but he knew himself better than to like cats for their looks. It was rare for anything to catch the tom's attention, so how had this she-cat caught his eye? I don't love her. No, no, of course not. I can't love anyone. It is impossible to feel love and hate at the same time when both conflict with each other. Maybe just a mild attraction. Still, he couldn't shake the feeling that, even after he had looked away, the she-cat's orbs were still staring into his. [/center]

OOC: Awesome! What style? Or where at, if you don't know the style...Cuz I sure didn't the first year I took classes. =)
Lilypond watched the leaders speaking with mild interest in the Shadowclan leader's speech. He seemed very distracted. His gazed flickered to his deputy. The she-cat would have guessed they had some secret worry on their minds. He says things are well in his clan, but are they really? Lilypond couldn't help but wonder. She turned to voice this thought to Cliffstone, but then remembered that he himself was a Shadowclan cat. He would never give away any worries for his clan that his leader wouldn't share at the gathering. She shocked herself by nearly having forgotten that the tom was of a separate clan. Talking with him that night, she felt at ease. Like it was just another Thunderclan tom. She smiled sadly. Too bad for clan differences... she thought. He'd have made a very good friend.

Beechflight sat and listened to her leader speak. Suddenly he looked at her and stuttered in his speech. The light brown tabby she-cat turned red. She could feel the hot gazes of other cats on her pelt. Darkstar had turned away, but Beechflight figured that the other cats thought that there was something going on. There wasn't at the moment, but it could turn out to be something eventually.

Only half listening to the gathering, Heraldstar kept one ear pointed toward the speaking cats whilst his flickering glance watched the stars out of the corner of his eye. Honestly, he couldn't be happier that everything within the clans was going well, and even better, his own clan was thriving. But something cold kept prickling at his skin, almost as if the irony of the situation would bring things worse to come. "A blade of grass can only last so long before it becomes brittle...and eventually dies," He thought silently, eyes narrowed up at the clear sky. How long would it really be until the peace shatters? Sighing, the tabby com shook his muzzle lightly, "what am I saying...I should be rejoicing at the way things have been going, not worrying like a old queen about things to come!" Suddenly realizing the others where awaiting his words, Heraldstar rose to his paws and stepped up in clear view of the cats below eagerly trying to push the shadowed thoughts from his head. Smiling lightly, he cleared his throat, "I...like my fellow leaders, am also glad to announce news of a thriving Windclan. With rabbits grown fat off the late green stocks, every cat has a full belly, and peace settles down upon our camp," he meowed, and than in a lower tone added, "but let us not grow to kind to this living, for what comes up...must come down." Frowing slightly at his own words, the Windclan leader took a step back tail tip twitching, "but let us hope I am wrong and that Starclan has blessed us with good times to come!" Flashing them another, yet doubtful smile, Heraldstar took his place between the other leaders.

Good Thymemoon mumbled under her breath. she felt oddly relieved to hear the WindClan leaders good words... why did she care? She shook her head as Thornstrike came to her mind again. I need to stop thinking about him! Though I wondered if Heraldstar has noticed how much we look and talk to each other- now is not the time to be worrying about it! Still she still couldn't seem to get her mind off him and it started to embarres her that she can't keep her emotions in check.

Cloverleaf listened to her leader's words. Somehow, despite their air of worry, she was relieved to hear them. After all the speeches about good health and great living she had heard leaders give that night, it was nice to hear one about the truth. No good lasted forever, and she was pleased to see her leader could acknowledge both the peace his clan was experiencing, as well as the inevitable dangers that the future would hold. The question was not if problems would occur, it was simply when. Years of healing had made her kind, and even gentle. But they also made her wiser to the world. She hoped that peace would last of coarse, but was glad to be prepared in case it did not. After all, her job was to be prepared for the times things went wrong!

Because this is basically over, and seeing as it's almost time for the next month's gathering; this thread is locked. All leaders have announced what they needed to. because this lasted a bit longer than it should, there will be no gathering for October so we have time for regular role-playing.
