Cloverleaf sat waiting to meet with the other medicine cats. The good thing about these nights, was that even though the distance to the Moonstone was long, she only had to wait at the border of her clan. Others were already traveling across the other areas...The less strain on her paws the better! Cloverleaf was excited about meeting with Starclan tonight. She had questions for the ancient cats. Especially about the warrior Thornstrike from her own clan. She wanted to know if she needed to worry about him. Perhaps she was overreacting, but she wanted to be certain he wouldn't pose a threat to her fellow Windclanners. She glanced up at the sky, seeing the half moon shining brightly above her. The stars twinkled like tiny moons themselves, as if Starclan were telling her ,"We are ready to speak with you." Cloverleaf smiled in return.

Shifting his weight awkwardly as the cool night breeze ruffled his white fur, Falconpaw breathed in deeply and wrapped his long tail tighter around his paws. Beside him his mentor retained a calm, yet at the same time excited air around her as though she had something important to say to the starry ancestors. Ears rotating at every sound, the young tom stirred quitely, tonight would be his first night at the moonstone and though he tried to keep it hidden, he couldn't help but fee nervous. "What if StarClan doesn't think I'm fit to train as a medicine cat?" He thought suddenly, shoulders tensing. Closing his eyes, the long legged apprentice sighed and looked away. There was something he needed to ask the sky dwelling cats, something he had been waiting for for a long time. Eager, Falconpaw pushed the thought out of his head and tilted his muzzle toward the clear night heavens. "Mother," He whispered out loud, though only loud enough for his ears to catch, "are you up there?" For a long dragging moment he kept his sharp golden orbs glued on the stars, waiting for a sign, an answer, but nothing came. Feeling slightly discouraged, he gave up and lowered his head again, eyes watching to horizon for a sign of the others.

Creamtail bounded up to Cloverleaf. Hello Cloverleaf. How is the clan? she saw Thymemoon walk off with Thornstrike at the gathering and wondered if there was something between them.

With silent steps and only mummered directions from her mentor she approched were the scents of mingling cats was fresh her blue eyes piercing the dark night as she made out the shapes of three cats. "hello" she meowed softly nerves clouding its perfect pitch. as she haulted her limbs folding into a sit. Her golden pelt almost black under the light of the moon rippling with mussle. "Before you ask my mentor was needed badly and is stuck at camp, and unable to leave so I came in her place"

Suddenly jolted out of his hazy thoughts by the appearance of the Thunderclan medicine cat, Creamtail, Falconpaw watched without much interest as she warmly greeted Cloverleaf. This wasn't the first time he had noticed that Medicine cats seemed more friendly toward each other, the last gathering he had witnessed his mentors light conversation with Whisperrain. "Naturally they are," Falconpaw figured, blinking as he noticed another shape bounding across the hillside from the direction of Riverclan territory. Peering closer he saw that the cat was smaller than he would have suspected the Riverclan medicine cat to be, about apprentice size. "If its not Calicopelt...than it must be...Honeypaw?" The windclan cat frowned slightly as he wondered why the apprentice came alone, maybe something was wrong? Shrugging it off, he sat patiently while the golden colored she-cat approached the little group. "Before you ask my mentor was needed badly and is stuck at camp, and unable to leave so I came in her place" Ears pricking up at her statement, Falconpaw glanced at her, narrowed golden eyes curious. Still, no matter how much he wanted to ask, the white tom refrained from questioning her and instead dipped his head in a shallow yet polite, "Hello," before turning his head away. Now all they needed was the Shadowclan medicine cat. Kneading the ground, Falconpaw's whiskers twitched as he began to grow impatient.

[Bleeh, sorry it took so long. I was stuck babysitting for 3 days straight. =/] The elegant she-cat's pace wasn't as nimble as it had been before. Rather, her eyes were tired, and her paws barely lifted from the ground as she forced a trot as she spotted the other Medicine Cats already gathered. Whisperrain wasn't used to being so busy. Usually Shadowclan cats didn't catch sicknesses from other cats or get much ill-doing. Rouges and loners stayed away from the pitch-black forest, and the warriors who lived there were so used to their surroundings that it was rare for them to sprain a paw or step on a thorn. Yet, tonight was not such a night. Rather, the she-cat was exhausted from her work, but she didn't want to miss this half-moon. Smiling at the healers, she dipped her head, tail waving at them. "Hello. I'm sorry if I kept you all waiting. Something came up back at the camp, so Graypaw couldn't come with me." She meowed apologetically, feeling the familiar reassurance she felt whenever near the Moon-stone, as though she knew Starclan was protecting the forest cats.

Cloverleaf greeted each medicine cat in turn with a friendly hello. To Creamtail she answered, "Things are fine, yes." She guessed the Thunderclan cat must have had a motive behind the question, but Cloverleaf wasn't sure what. She was surprised when Honeypaw came alone in place of her mentor, but decided not to press the matter. She glanced over at Falconpaw, who looked nervous. Well, it was his first trip to the Moonstone. Starclan's approval would be needed...but Cloverleaf was fully confident he would be accepted. Cloverleaf looked around at the others. "Are we all here? Great. Lets go then..." she meowed, beginning the long trek to the Mothermouth. Her paws itched with anxiousness to speak with Starclan.
OOC: Sorry it took me so long...

Lifting his head when he noticed Whisperrain arrive, Falconpaw sighed and rose to his feet, long white legs showing off his tall stature. "Good, now we can go!" He muttered to himself, tail lashing from side to side as he waited for one of the others to lead the way. If it where up to him, they would have been gone the moment the Shadowclan medicine cat appeared, but as it was, he didn't know the way to the moonstone anyway. Thankfully he didn't have to wait long before Cloverleaf announced there departure and began to pad along the trail. Bounding a few paces forward, the white tom fell into step with his mentor, eyes peeled for any sign of Mothermouth.

Smiling, the she-cat padded after the two, remembering that this would be Falconpaw's first meeting as a Medicine Cat. At first, she wondered if he was nervous, but she then reminded herself that the calm apprentice would never express emotions like that. Because Medicine Cats have to remain strong so they can support their clanmates. Recalling what her mentor had told her, she frowned slightly but brushed it aside. Tail swaying, she forgot the heavy feeling in her paws and quickened her pace, slowing down only when she reminded herself not to seem too eager. In truth, the she-cat was itching to speak with Starclan about many things. Her sub-concious told her she was still curious about what had happened with the Windclan and Riverclan border fight, but she was a Medicine Cat. Destined to received herb dreams. Lovely. Still, she even smiled at this dreary thought, because it was what she did best. And even if she did only dream of plants and never any animals, it was fun. For her anyway; she didn't know about the other Medicine Cats, but she figured it was the same for them, seeing as they were Medicine Cats and all. Unless one of them was like Jayfeather, the Thunderclan cat of the olden times.

Her ears flicked as her limbs quickly shifted to a stand. Her golden pelt swaying softly to the movement. Her paws trailed softly over the grass with slight reluctance as nervous stiffined. Her pace slow as she hung in last behind the other medicine cats. Her blue eyes flashed with a small fire as they flickered over each, before they glanced around for the Dark gap of mothermouth as her mind wandered back to her mentor and camp.

Cloverleaf looked over at Falconpaw. On the surface he looked as calm as ever, but she had known the young tom long enough to recognize the slight eagerness in his eyes. She wanted to tell him that the walk would be long, but she would alert him when they got close. However, the medicine cat held her tongue, knowing Falconpaw would just get embarrassed if his mentor drew attention to his emotions. Instead, Cloverleaf turned to the closest cat other than Falconpaw, which happened to be Whisperrain. "How has life been treating you?" she asked in a casual tone. She purposefully added the 'treating you' part, so as not to seem like the generic How's the clan? statement.

Creamtail looked at where mothermouth was. Here we are.... she mumbled. I wonder What StarClan has in store for us this time.... she looked at Falconpaw. May This apprentice be the one that is right for this clan..... she prayed for WindClan. If he is the right one, All clans will have medicine cat apprentices! she felt warm at the thought, yet she didn't quite know why.

Blinking, the she-cat turned as she was adressed, smiling as she recognized Cloverleaf, whom she'd shared several words with at the Gathering. "Not so mercifully, though it could be worse. And how about you?" It was nice, as she recalled, to be able to talk with fellow Medicine Cats casually. Her own clan hardly ever put in a normal, daily conversation with her unless they were injured. Otherwise, she might as well not exist. I have to stay in the den and sort herbs with Graypaw most of the time, though I do hope she gets in time to play with the other apprentices. Recalling the shy cat, she smiled slightly, though it was barely visible in the darkness. Noting that, despite the long walk to Mother-Mouth, no cat had complained. Indeed, she had a feeling that each of them had something heavily important on their mind. Lightshed had once told her, "Never trust a cat's words, because it is their eyes that will tell you the most." Blinking, she dismissed her mentor's words. You're one to talk. All you did in the end was lie to me and all of Shadowclan. Biting her tongue, she turned to glance up at the moon, remembering a conversation she'd had with Thrushstar, Shadowclan's former leader. Ah, that reminds me. I was going to ask Starclan what they do in the morning. Gazing up into the gaping cavern, she sighed. They'd made it, and she had a feeling that she wasn't the only awe inspired one despite the fact that it wasn't her first time here.

Her blues eyes burrned softly as they narrowed to soft slits as she gazed up at mothermouth. Her tail twitched from sife to side as she glanced at the other medicine cats waiting for one to lead the way into the mouth so she could take her place behind them. With a nervouse flick of her ear she started to think about how this was only her secound visit and she was alone with out her mentor.

As they walked, Falconpaw noticed the ground beneath paw was growing harder and stony, he gritted his teeth slightly when he felt tiny pebbles digging into his pads. "We can't be far now..." he realized, recalling the things Cloverleaf had told him about mother mouth. Pitching his ears forward, he was about to pick up his pace when he caught the gaze of Creamtail fixed momentarily on him. Suspicious, and a little annoyed, he blinked toward the Thunderclan medicine cat, golden orbs slightly narrowed. But before he could say anything, the white apprentice skidded to a stop to keep himself from bumping into Whisperrain whom had suddenly halted. Confused, he shook his head to see what everything was about and couldn't help but stare in awe at the sight that greeted him. Before him stood a large cave mouth, which to him highly resembled a gaping pare of jaws. Taking a step back to take it all in, Falconpaw gazed uncertainly into the murky blackness, his golden orbs unusually wide. "So...this is it?" He murmured out loud without taking his eyes off the interesting sight, his mind set on what he would find inside.
