Me In One Big Bite
{Long, lean. Muscular, yet hidden variably in a truly irresistible fashion, making him a she-cat's dream. Soft, faded olive eyes, much like an old, faded satin strip. His soft, silky pelt is in appearance of a rough, wiry fur. Touching it reveals something completely different, as you are lost in a sea of the softest, truest comfort.}
Silk And Shine
{Well-bred and sturdy, muscles smoothed under a sleek, patchwork pelt. Heraldstar's soft, fluffy fur is both sleek and coated in grandest sheen. Hs fur is medium length, handsome and silky. The perfect tone for a kittypet - a twoleg's dream. Yet any cat who knows Heraldstar, thought they may not beg to differ, knows that he is purely wild and ferocious.
Patchwork resembles the fact that his pelt is much like scraps pieced together. Striped naturally, and neatly, in a dark grey, hints of brown swept through. Faint grey-brown goes across his satin hair, much like stitches. Those odd 'stitchwork' pieces make his hair look wiry and very opposing to what it truly is. His muzzle, and various other spots on his body, are spotted and patched in the oddest white and cream-brown. Faded, brown like a faded blanket. His face, and much like the patches, variously splayed are creamy streaks and spots. Mainly, these rare defects in his striped coats, are on his facial mask. }
Eyes Like Satin Sheets
{Like stated above, his eyes are the finest satin strips a cat could ask for. Their soft, fading olive-mint color is moist, always sparkling. Like they say, his eyes really do sparkle when he is excited. They seem to glow with trust, happiness, loyalty, and make him picture-perfect. Well, not even a picture could do him true justice. These faded green-mint eyes are just a highlight of his beauty.}
Body Like A Tank
{When a cat mentions Heraldstar, what might come into mind? A handsome, truly lovely, lean tomcat. Hidden beneath the lean build, comes a big surprise. His incredible build, a muscled monster. Like a well-oiled machine, he can charge, he can take down any enemy. As long as determination and Truth stand by him, side by side, they can defeat any troubles.}
And The Last Special Detail
{Eyes change with personality change - see 'History' for details. Become an icy, cruel, cold and frosted, vibrant green.}

In Conclusion
{Truly, at heart, Heraldstar is an incredible cat. Even with his personality defects, he is the number one in kindness, caring, love. His big heart stretches far, to fit the very kingdom of the Clans. His soft, gentle nature, very hard to compete with on any level.
Until, of course, you realize that this is not the only side of him. At any given instant he may become the harsh, cold, cruel creature he oft tries to conceal. Hidden within the folds of a balanced lie, he has tried so hard. And very well, indeed, as noly one may know of the duo he has to live with daily.}

My Little Ol' Story
{Sparklefur, thrilled and beseeched at the six bundles lay before her. And one little scrap of the material left from making them, the patchwork tom you know today as, well, me! So let me tell you about my life, straight from the horse's, or cat's, mouth. And I guess I have to let Slaypaw tell you some of it too...
You bet you better! And don't call me that!
Fine! Lemme just tell the beginning. My eyes, wide open, reflecting crystal upon a lake of beauty. The soft winds, the smell of fresh pine. My father. All taken in at once, the first real time of living. Because before that, all I saw was a future I now forgot.
At five moons, my life got hectic. I fell unconscious, and when I awoke it was to my mother's blood-curling cry. All across the earth of the nursery, blood spattered. My siblings, every last one's throat cut, deep gashes lining their flanks. They were all dead. At the sight, I felt sick. And on my claws, red blood glistened. I was prepard to turn, flee. My instincts told me to do so. I remained frozen, petrified. I know I hadn't done this. But then, who had? And why would it appear to actually be me?
My mother's dark mint eyes trailed across me. The blood, the fear. Ears pinned back in distress. Her first instinct was to slay me. Her second to love me immensely. She stood there, frozen. Her eyes wide with shock, sadness, the fear copied mine. As she began to shake, her lips parted and formed the same word over and over again, countless times. No.
The wheezing she made, my heart stopping all together. What had I done? I raced off, pelting fast and hard into the Medicine Den. Scaldwater sat, pressing some poultice between his forepaw. As he sat, glancing quickly up to meet my gaze, his eyes grw fearful.
"Hide Me!" Was all I could say. He calmed me down, he told me everything I needed to know. I had a split personality. Big deal, a very big deal.
Oh, Herald. I just eliminated your chances at a poor mentor. At a crowded den. I did it to prove that you were worth something more. How can you compete with siblings like them clinging to you?
As an apprentice, thank you very much Slayer, my life was still troublesome. I hardly learned a thing with this leech always taking over. He was the strong one. And though he was the one to prove our my worth,
Our worth.
our worth, he caused me much trouble. I guess I never really liked my mentor, Snakefoot. So I didn't have to deal with him. Big deal with that, though. 'Cause at the same time, he ruined my chances of ever being appreciated. Or remembered, for that matter. He was the superior in so many ways. It was not cool.
So when we had the ceremony, we were fighting for control of response. I managed to fight him back, with much effort, and utter the words willed of me. With that last breath of hope, I was made Heraldfur in my turn. I only wished that my siblings could be watching. I thought of a name each one could receive, and held my own personal ceremony for each. Heraldstar, not so great a name for me. I did not care. Only then did I really feel the love they had for me, as I, pretending to be Heraldstar, let my thoughts cry out. Minktail. Mousewhisker. Poppyseed. Ivorywind. Tumblingboulder. Ashflake. Redfoot. And that is how I've thought of them forever since.
Poor little Heraldfur was upset again, but I always do these things for his benefit. Family was dragging him down. As a young warrior, a great battle arose. My father was doing poorly, my mother nearly dead. I fought her to arise, but instead she just died on me! Stupid kitty. And father was dying too. I made him fight harder, right down to his death. Bwah, none of our family were very strong! Stupid cats, they were as weak as ltitle kittypets!
The stories always hurt to tell. Yet, inside, I know I must to you. And as I spill these dreadful songs, I must tell you about present day. As I was elected Deputy, I realized that I was going to have some trouble. Yeah, like I was going to die. Or kill my leader. Or Slayer here might do something else, and I would be to blame. He always hid behind me like a kitten!
And one day, I couldn't take it any more, so I went off to rid the forest of a mass murderer...}
Recounting My Birth
{Born of Sparklefur and Daisyfoot. Born last, he was a runt to a litter of seven. Three she-cats, and four toms. The largest litter in record history for ShadowClan. As his eyes opened to a crystal blue, like all before him, he saw the world held high above the Clans. His father carried him - the first to open eyes of the litter - out and showed him the world. Little did Heraldstar know how little he would repay his father for the loving efforts.}
When I Dream A Dream
{He dreams of serving his Clan well, becoming a legend for his positive attitude, losing Duo B, and catching a deer.}

Playing Out My Life Story.
The Role I Play
{"Scaldwater! Scaldwater!" the pitiful caterwauls of the young tomkit rang clearly through the afternoon air. A small bundle of scrapped patchwork fur bolted into the den. Eyes wide, shock strewn across his face. Heraldkit, coated in blood, fur torn.
"Help me!" Scaldwater sat the kit down, calming him.
"And when I woke, I saw blood everywhere. Please help me." Heraldkit sobbed, his green eyes pained. He was trembling now. His thoughts raced, he was on the verge of himself collapsing in, dying.
"It sounds like you have a Duo."
"A what!?!" The words rang, distorted, through seven miserable pitches.
"When two souls contaminate one body. You'll have to get rid of the one, if you ant supreme control. I'm afraid I cannot help you." Scaldwater's face read sadly.
-----
"Remember how to do it, Heraldpaw?" Snakefoot meowed, his eyes glittering with worry, hidden behind many layers of hope and excitement.
"No." Heraldpaw muttered to himself. Suddenly, he swam in the black. He felt his own body now, as it moved. He was learning to stay in some control. Still, however, Heraldpaw was losing himself. Terribly.
-----
"This time, realize that I am the one the ceremony dictates! No, he's not going to name you Slaysoul, but me Herald-something-or-other. So just let me handle the ceremony!"
"Look, I've been giving you all this excellent fighting skill, and all you do to thank me is steal my ceremony and my dignity?"
"Your dignity? Don't be silly! Look, we have to go. Now stay in control, Heraldpaw."
"Don't count on it!"
The pain that surged and echoed through Heraldpaw's body was nearly unbearable. As he fought for control, as Slaypaw fought. They both wanted supreme rule. And within the last few seconds, the words were choked up. Heraldpaw tried to sound calm, happy, but the crushing and force that beat against his soul was too much to bear. He gasped a little, words forming and exploding out.
"I do!" With that, those two words would forever change his life. The first time he was in full control. He was the supreme. He was the boss. And he was no longer plain old Heraldpaw. Now, he was Heraldfur. And he was supreme over his Duo.
-----
The words echoed quietly through Heraldfur's head. Eyes wide, he thought that he would be sick. The bile rising in his throat, putrid. Much less the distress. When the meeting had been called, Slaypaw had willed himself supreme ruler. Though Heraldfur could generally hear, this time was different. He didn't really care. He was tired, bored, and must've dozed off. For even now this was a surprise. He hadn't fought off Slaypaw, and only did he realize that he should have.
Look, I just gave you what you wanted. Power.
Not power. Heraldfur thought in despair. But for you, a chance to destroy our Clan. Nothing Heraldfur ever thought was private, so when he thought, it was silently in the back of his mind. Deep within his heart, where it was safe. And he thought about what Slaypaw would do for power. Kill the leader, as he had Heraldfur's siblings. Take full control over the shared home, body. Ruin everything in a hidden quest for power. The doom was quickly falling upon Heraldfur, with five simple words. They tumbled through his head, painfully cracking at the sides of his mind until it would burst. And he would die.
"Heraldfur is our new deputy." As the cheers went up, Heraldfur felt himself fall deeply into unconscious. Only to realize later that he was giving Slaypaw an unwilled opportunity to officialize the newly stated deal. That was unacceptable...}
