[green]Name: Fernpelt
Age: 24 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: Thunderclan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Appearance: A beautiful frosty white she-cat, she is the exact image of her mother; white fur, green eyes and all. However, though she is extremely attractive, she is quite small, barely larger than a newly-made apprentice.
She has always been tiny, and though she is very delicate and isn't the best fighter, she never stops dreaming and wishing. Innocent green eyes smile at you and, despite her terrible fighting skills, she is excellent at climbing trees, her small size allowing her to easily pull herself up the trunks.
Personality: Bright and dreamy, she almost always has her head up in the clouds. She doesn't know the meaning of the word 'anxiety' and she never lets anything get her down. Smiley and cheerful, she is easy to befriend and loves socializing with other cats.
Hardly ever bothering to think about her past or the dark realities in the forest, she is the definition of optimism and is the last cat you would expect to see frowning.
Full of life and abundant joy, most toms find it difficult not to fall for her, and though she can be rather oblivious to their feelings, she is friendly with everyone, including other clans. This is most likely due to the fact that she was once part of Shadowclan and the fact that she believes all four clans should join together rather than fight each other.
History: Born into Shadowclan originally, Fernkit and her siblings Icekit and Jaykit were half-clan; their mother, Bluesong, coming from Shadowclan while their father, Hawktail, was of Riverclan. From the minute they were born, Bluesong's clanmates suspected that she had broken the Warrior Code. There was no other cat in Shadowclan with a pitch black pelt and golden eyes, and Bluesong was white with green eyes. Jaykit and Fernkit were the spitting images of their mother, while Icekit was suspiciously identical to the Riverclan tom Hawktail.
Gradually, the family's clanmates grew apart from them, and the three kits grew up in a world of whispers, uneasy glances, and harsh judgements.
Finally, Bluesong could take it no longer, and, believing that her kits didn't deserve to suffer for her own mistakes, decided to leave them in different clans.
In the dark of night, when her kits were each 2 moons, she snuck out of camp, bringing them with her. First, she went to Thunderclan, where one of her best friends was. She explained the situation to her friend, and, luckily, her friend agreed to take Fernkit into Thunderclan. Fernkit, being much smaller than the average 2-moon-old kit, could easily be mistaken for a new-born. Bluesong's friend, Leafwind, brought Fernkit into Thunderclan camp the next day after telling the kit to close her eyes, pretending that she had just given birth to the kitten.
At first, cats didn't believe her. She'd shown no signs of pregnancy, but she insisted that Fernkit was her own child, and they obliged finally.
Meanwhile, Bluesong had brought Icekit to Riverclan to live with his father. Hawktail took the kit and, after erasing the tom's scent, told his clanmates that he had found Icekit in the woods. Icekit was taken in, and Bluesong hurried on towards Windclan.
However, on the way, Bluesong and Jaykit were attacked by a fox, and, in the battle, Bluesong was killed. Her dead body shielded Jaykit from view, and before the fox could find the kitten, a Windclan patrol showed up and chased it off. When they found Jaykit, they picked up her Shadowclan scent and brought her back to her homeclan, dropping the kit off.
In Thunderclan, Fernkit got along well with her denmates; her cheery personality instantly making her popular. Though she fit right in, she remembered her littermates and mother. While she knew that she was half-clan, she did not know who her father was; unlike Icekit.
At a Gathering, her adoptive mother Leafwind was one of the cats who received the news that Bluesong had tragically died at the fangs of a fox. When she heard this, she was grief-stricken for her friend and hesitated at first about telling Fernkit.
One day, at 5 moons, Fernkit finally brought up the question as to whether or not she would ever see her mother again. Reluctantly, Leafwind told the kit that Bluesong would never return to the forest, but that she had cared so dearly for her kits, which was why she'd sacrificed her life for their well-being.
Fernkit took the news hard, and she mourned until early apprentice-ship at 8 moons, when she came across the decision to reunite with her kin so that they could reconnect what was left of their memories with their mother.
Fernpaw had a close bond with her mentor, Duskclaw, and she learned everything she knows now from him. She was devastated when he died fighting alongside her in battle against a Shadowclan patrol, and she was even more astounded to see that one of her opponents was none other than her sister Jaypaw.
However, before she could say anything, the Shadowclan cats had retreated along with the last glimpse of her sister that she had gotten in 6 moons.
She received a new mentor and worked even harder to make Duskclaw and her mother's spirit proud. When she was finally made a warrior, Fernpelt dedicated her life to finding her siblings and father.
At Gatherings, she often tries searching for them. However, Hawktail is an elder and no longer makes the journey to Four Trees, Icewreath is always hiding in the undergrowth, and Jaywing is busy wandering in the trees trying to clear her torturous thoughts.
