Name: Greypaw
Age: Six Moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: Shadowclan
Rank: Medicine Cat apprentice
Appearance: Greypaw is small for her age with short grey fur that blends into stone and the night very well and eyes like two light blue pools that shine in the light and always have a distant look to them. She has long legs that are good for jumping, neat oval paws and a normal sized tail. In the light her fur has very hard to see light stripes that cover her face, back and tail.
Personality: Greypaw is very distant at times and sometimes it seems that she always speaks in riddles that nobody understands but her but in some way or another they are usually true (and no, she doesn't have any powers to predict the future!). She likes to learn about all the different herbs and their uses but not as much as she loves swimming or climbing trees. She doesn't like the taste of frog (I'll explain in history) or when somebody doesn't understand what she's trying to say, even though the meaning might be clear to her.
History: Some of the other kits (and sometimes apprentices) made fun of her for ether how none of them could understand what she's saying, for her size or because she liked swimming, they always said she should belong in Riverclan. Once, one of the other kits gave her a toad to eat, saying she would like it, but she hated the taste of it and never ate another frog again. She was considering to be a warrior to help defend her clan and fight for it, but what she really wanted to do was to help the warriors who where hurt to get better so that they wouldn't die. Also if she was a medicine cat the other cats might not make fun of her size or how she talks as much.
Role Play Sample: (Okay...I'll use this character the, when she was a kit!)
Greykit sat just outside the nursery watching four of the brave warriors of Shadowclan come back from hunting. She felt excitement rush through her, one day she was going to be a warrior and help fight the other clans and bring back food for her mother and clan! "Someday, I'll be a great warrior!" She said, her tail twitching with excitement as she imagined the air rushing through her fur, almost like water did. But before anything else could happen something leaped onto her back. She let out a startled yowl before smelling the sent of (*thinks of random name*) Tornkit, one of her denmates.
"You'll be a great warrior, will you, but your so small." Tornkit said mockingly.
"Let me up, Thornkit!" Greykit said struggling under the much older kit's massive paws wondering where the warriors were when you needed them.
"Come on, if your going to be a great warrior you've got to learn how to fight." Thornkit said not even budging from Greykit's attempts, "Have you caught any fish out swimming lately?"
"As sweet as blood, as rich as flame, rarer then cats, this deadly game." Greykit told him seriously.
"Oh, another one of your riddles, fine, be that way but-" Thornkit was cut off as a shadow came overhead Greykit felt the pressure of Thornkit release. She looked up, her mother was there looking at Thornkit dangerously. Thornkit went back inside the nursery. Greykit got up and went to her mother, nosing her gratefully.
"Are you okay Greykit?" Her mother asked, Greykit nodded, "That's good, Greykit, what did you say to him?"
"I just told him what he was doing." Greykit said, she did not want to tell her mother what she had really said, she hated it when Greykit talked the way she did and Greykit knew it.
"And what was that?" Greykit knew her mother would ask that and Greykit said nothing, "Come on you can tell me what you said."
"As sweet as blood, as rich as flame, rarer then cats, this deadly game." Greykit didn't look up at her mother to see what emotions flashed in her eyes, Greykit did not want to see them.
"Do me a favor, don't talk like that so much okay?" her mother asked. Greykit nodded even though she knew that she would not - no, she COULD not - stop speaking the way everyone hated, "Good, now why don't you go and take a nap?"
"No, I'll stay out here." Greykit said as her mother headed into the nursery. She could here an argument and she knew that her mother was arguing with Thornkit's mother, Thornkit would get in trouble and - she cut off that line of thought and she climbed a tree branch nearby by jumping, Thornkit couldn't climb as well as she could. And for the first time she felt truly safe, she just wished she could swim in some water.

Other: Sorry the Role play section was so long, I got really into it!
