Eveningkit stared and stared and stared. He ran away too? Never, he couldn't have. The leader announced he was the only run-away, unless he had explained before his birth... Shuddering off any doubt, he realized how similar they were. Sure, one small fluff-ball and a muscular warrior didn't seem as to identical puzzle pieces, but mentally they were the same. Both seemed unhappy and trying to fit in. Nodding curtly, his aqua waves situated in his head was absorbed in finding out about Icewreath. "What do you like to do?'' he asked quietly and respectively.

[navy]Giving a small smile, he glanced at the tom before looking back up at the sky. It was strange. He no longer considered the kit a kit. Rather, he was beggining to talk to him as though he were another warrior. Truly, it didn't matter the age or rank. Every cat was capable of feeling and thinking the same things, and it was ridiculous for someone to believe that when you were born effected your emotional capabilities. "Well, I'm a bit boring. But I like going out when the moon is at its highest and just sitting by the River and staring at the woods... It's a little weird, I know, but what do you enjoy? I'll bet you have more interesting hobbies than me." He smiled and look back at Eveningkit.[/navy]

"I wouldn't call you boring." His tone was curious, observing how Icewreath acted. He was more of a quiet cat, not hogging the spotlight, which was good. It kind of reflected Eveningkit's life, a runaway lost cat. He had never been a star of the show, more of the extra load to carry. He had like how the warrior had lived, but still managed.

[navy]Chuckling, he shook his head. "Well, you would be the first. But thanks anyway. You know, you yourself are pretty interesting." The sun hid behind a cloud again, and the world was temporarily cast into shadows. Icewreath didn't mind the shade though. It was cool and welcoming, and it relieved him temporarily of the sun. That's because I lived in Shadowclan, and the sun was a myth there. Blinking, he pawed at a drifting dandelion seed before glancing back over to Eveningkit. "But you know, like you said earlier... You may be small, but it's not really the outside that matter.s"[/navy]

Eveningkit shrugged off, instead noticing the shade overpowering them. It contrasted against the blue sky, and somehow didn't belong. He smiled wearily, pulling it off meaningfully. That sounded like him, a small meek splotch of dirt in the clean, precious linen. Most of his littermates cowered at the sight of black shadows, but looking at it made him feel like home. Of course, he hated home, but it reminded him of his mother, his aunt...and that he's always be welcome in the rogues if anything went wrong. Back in the rogues, there were no apprentices or warriors or healers. Sure, it was much less civilized, but he'd always seem to connect to his birth-place. "Er, yeah I guess so." He heard Icewreath and had to give a half-heart reply.

[navy]Icewreath blinked before pricking his ears. Time always seemed at a stand-still when he was talking to someone else, and he wistfully wished he was better at keeping up a conversation. Sighing, the tom stood up. "Well, don't give in to your littermates. I'm going hunting, but I'll be back in a while. I probably don't need to tell you to stay away from the Nursery until the smell goes away." He chanced a weak smile before padding out of the camp.[/navy]
