OOC: The gathering must begin now. All cats from the leaders that have not yet posted who is coming are allowed to come. You do not have to wait for the leader's message.
IC:
Silentstar gazed down upon the moon dappled clearing, her golden eyes taking in the empty gathering place. The four great oaks stood proud and tall surrounding the moonlight-glimmering; the wind softly whispering through the branches. The ground was soft under paw as she crouched in the bushes at the top of the hollow. Once she had made her observation, she raised one black tail, turning silver in the light of the full moon. Upon the silent single she sprang from the bushes and bounded down into the clearing of quick, small paws. Her golden eyes glowed as bright as the full moon as she looked around the sacred clearing. Green-Leaf had been good to them for this moon. But it would be Leaf-Fall soon, and with the cold weather, brought sickness and starvation. She padded through the clearing, and sprang up on the rock, feeling it sliding smoothly beneath her paw pads. She turned her head to watch as her clan mates settled into the empty hollow.

Falconpaw turned his head curiously when he heard the sounds of moving above. His large white ears twitched knowingly when he saw Silentstar appear, Thunderclan following close behind the black leader as she lead them down into the hollow. He snorted faintly when there thick forest scent caught in his nose and with out so much as a second glance he turned and walked a few paces away. Sighing, Falconpaw sat down and delicately wrapped his long white tail around his paws. So Thunderclan was here, Shadowclan as well, all they had to wait for was Riverclan. Large golden eyes shifting calmly in the silver moonlight, he trained his gaze on the top of the hollow were he guessed the fish eating clan would appear. Honestly he could almost care less about talking with the other cats, even if he was medicine cat apprentice. "Perhaps one of the leaders will have something interesting to report?" The Windclan apprentice thought hopeful, but than he shook his head, "huh...I doubt it."

Shadestar leaped silently onto the large boulder in at the head of the gathering. Silentstar was already waiting upon the stone, and the Riverclan leader walked over to her. "Greetings Silentstar. I hope things are well in Thunderclan?" she meowed politely. Shadestar had other thoughts spinning in her brain though, and couldn't help but keep glancing around for Heraldstar. The Windclan leader would have much to explain after the border scuffle she had heard about recently....
Lilypond sat near the base of the giant rock, looking around the gathering. It was a nice turnout. Many cats from every clan had come. She saw her leader sitting with Shadestar of Riverclan. The warrior's eyes left the boulder and looked to her left. Her brother Duskfur sat next to her, giving her a look that plainly read, "When will it start?" Lilypond chuckled and Duskfur did too, knowing his sister well enough to know she understood what he was thinking. The tom smiled and looked up to the leaders, willing them to begin.
Cloverleaf sat next to her apprentice. the tom looked bored and rather disinterested. Then the medicine cat glanced at the leaders on the rock. Shadestar sat calmly, though her eyes peered around for Heraldstar. Cloverleaf felt there would be much excitement based on the recent issues between her own clan and Riverclan.
Lightwing was sitting quietly with her clan mates. Her eyes glanced around the group of cats with her. Some mingled, others sat silently to observe...Everywhere there was an air of impatience for the gathering to begin...

When he didn't spot Riverclan right away, Falconpaw mumbled quitely and turned his head when he felt the fur of a cat brush his side. He wasn't shocked to find it was only Cloverleaf, and out of curiousity he followed her gaze to the great rock in the center. His tail swished in agitation as he noticed Shadestar climbing onto the landmark. "Mouse-brain, wasn't paying enough attention, Riverclan must have just arrived" He realized instantly. Finding little interest in watching the leaders, Falconpaw looked away. It wasn't hard to tell that excitment and tense feelings rippled through the clearing, espicialy between Riverclan and Windclan. This made the white cat shake his head in disbelief. He knew perfectly well about the border scuffle that had aroused, though it only angered him that cats could be so foolish, yet he kept these feelings to himself fearing how the clan would react if he stated his bold opinoin. Breathing deeply he suddenly felt a question spark in his head and he stared closely at Cloverleaf, "So do you think the border thing will be a big deal?" He meowed, careful to keep his voice slightly lower incase any other cat decided to listen in.

Cloverleaf heard her apprentice's meow, and turned her head to look at him. "It most certainly will be. Not just because I think Riverclan were wrong, but because of the look on Shadestar's face. She is clearly ready to start something about it..." the medicine cat's meow trailed off, a little smile curled onto her lips. "Why? The prospect of an argument excites you?" she added teasingly to Falconpaw.
Shadestar sat quite still, looking around, wondering why Heraldstar was not yet on the boulder, if his cats were already in the crowd...
Lilypond became bored and approached a small Riverclan she-cat she recognized as Lightwing. The two warriors began to talk politely. Her brother soon joined them out of boredom as well. Duskfur made a joke and the three cats laughed quietly.

Silentstar dripped her head respectfully in return to Shadestar, the RiverClan leader. "Greetings Shadestar. All is well in ThunderClan, thank you. I hope this green-leaf has been as good to you as it has been to us," she murmured, looking around at her clan, sleek-furred and calm as they waited for the gathering. She noticed the tension in RiverClan, and she twitched one ear but said nothing.
----
Rushpaw raced into the clearing after his clan mates, his yellow eyes wide with excitement and awe as he looked around at the other cats. The scent of ThunderClan was strong in the air, and he recognized their leader and a couple of their warriors only from stories he had heard about them. Bounding forward he stopped beside two ThunderClan cats, a she-cat and a tom who he did not know. He saw his mentor talking to them and he dipped his head to her before politely sitting down and curling his tail around his paws.

[yellow]Breathwhisp hadn't really noticed anyone he knew to well, but then again it was always best to make new friends for next time. The tom smiled to himself before padding over to his clanmate, Lilypond. "I still can't get used to how many cats are here." He purred in greeting to the she-cat, his right eye flickering in comparison to the sightless left one. The tom glanced over at where the leaders had gathered. Silentstar seemed calm as always, and he smiled as he remembered their talk from before. Breathwhisp blinked and looked over at Riverclan and Windclan. The two groups seemed to be staying away from each other, and he wondered if something had happened between them. Not one for gossip, he was clueless to the skirmish that had taken place. Instead, he looked back at his clanmate and smiled charmingly, oblivious to the flying sparks between River and Wind.[/yellow] ------ [maroon]Thornstrike sighed in boredom. His left eye was still half-shut, and he couldn't see much through it, but he didn't care. He'd satisfied himself with ripping up Russetstorm the other day, so it didn't really matter if he had a scar or two. The Windclan tom blinked and stared emotionlessly at where the majority of Riverclan was. He smirked before glancing over at his leader. His grin turned to a frown. Well, time for the fireworks. Oh well... His only regret was that Featherpaw, his apprentice, had witnessed the battle.[/maroon]

SHADOWCLAN: Darkstar, Beechflight, Whisperrain, Jaywing, Hawktail, Mystery, and Splashpaw. -- Darkstar padded to Four Trees and leapt up to his branch in the tree. The tomcat's belt blended nicely with the shade of the tree, and the dark of the night. Gazing around at the cats below, he merely sat down. Turning his head to Silentstar and Shadestar, he nodded in greeting. "Hello Silentstar, Shadestar. I trust all is well?" he said plainly. Flicking his tail slowly back and forth, Darkstar listened to the chatting of cats below him.

Hawktail raced along the back of the group of ShadowClan cats. This was her first gathering. Reaching the clearing that held the four great trees, the tabby froze up a little. There were cats everywhere! The she-cat stood hunched up, mouth open, gazing around the clearing. Suddenly, she realized how much of a scared kit she must look, and she shook herself. She loped over to a spot where the moonlight didn't touch, and sat down. She looked up at the leaders, her pale green orbs glowing in the soft light of the moon.

"Things have been well, and Greenleaf has been very friendly with my cats." Shadestar meowed, smiling despite the tension she felt when she saw the Windclan cats. When Darkstar approached, the she-cat turned and dipped her head to him. "All is well yes, yourself?" she asked, feeling that these conversations were a little repetitive, but keeping that inside. The niceties were just a part of the gathering...
Lilypond smiled as Rushpaw came bounding over. "This must be the apprentice you were speaking of!" the warrior purred, smiling at the young tom. Lightwing had just mentioned receiving her first apprentice...Rushpaw looked a fine young cat, full of the energy and interest a future warrior needed. Duskfur flicked the apprentice on the shoulder with his tail and meowed, "Congrats to you!" He then congratulated Lightwing on her mentoring the cat. Lilypond looked over her shoulder as Breathwhisp padded over. "Lightwing, this is Breathwhisp." she introduced the tom kindly. Lightwing bowed her head. "It is good to meet you Breathwhisp!"
Cloverleaf glanced over at Thornstrike, noticing his apparent disinterest with the Riverclan cats. She found this odd, as he had been very interested in them while he was shredding their warrior the other day...Cloverpelt might feel like Riverclan had explaining to do, but she also felt embarrassed that her clan was a large part of the fight. That was one of the reasons she was a medicine cat. She didn't feel fighting was the best way to solve most issues.

Falconpaw felt his fur prickle up his spine when Cloverleaf proved his theory, so maybe the gathering could get interesting after all. "Even though its over something so foolish..." He thought smugly to himself, glaring at nothing in particular. Having not instantly responded to his mentor, the lean apprentice lifted his maw to the stars and stared mesmerized at the twinkling blanket of Silverpelt. "Maybe," Falconpaw started without looking at her, "but if both clans hadn't been so hostile in the first place...maybe the whole thing could have been avoided." He snorted to himself when he recalled that that had been part of the reason he refused to be a warrior in the first place. They were always jumping headfirst into battle without even a single thought about the consequences. Still staring at the night sky, Falconpaw sighed and tilted his head slightly to the side in a questionable manner. "Hopefully such a thing won't get out of hand. You don't think StarClan would be angry do you?" The tom meowed, eyes glittering with the light of the moon, yet as hard as he looked, there were no clouds in the sky at all which let him relax if only a bit.

Silentstar nodded to Darkstar, ShadowClan's leader as the dark-furred tom leaped up onto the rock. Glancing at his shadowed pelt it wasn't a question as to why he was named Darkstar. "That's good," she responded to Shadestar. Glancing again at Darkstar she added. "All has been well in my clan, too. Green-Leaf seems to have been kind to us all?" It was a statement, but also a question as she wondered if his clan was alright.
----
Rushpaw nodded to Lilypond and Duskfur. "Yes, I'm Rushpaw!" He squeaked, and looked around the gathering area. It was so beautiful, and also awe inspiring for him to finally be here. He had heard stories about it, but only until you were looking at it yourself did you fully understand. "Hi Breathwisp! How are you?" He meowed, having no problem talking to the cats from other clans.

Darkstar nodded, answering the questions. "Indeed it has," he mewed. Darkstar looked about the cats, picking out the ones that belong in his Clan. Flicking one ear in slight boredum, he glanced back at Shadestar and Silentstar. He sighed, looked back at the mingling Clans, and smiled slightly. Everything looked so...right. The Clans were peaceful, though Darkstar found some worry and possibly hostility in RiverClan adn WindClan? Pushing that to the back of his mind, he focused on the Gathering, waiting for someone to start.
